[The video opens vertically, a phone propped up on something on a coffee table, facing a couch, the couch and art on the walls are generic, as if they came with the house and had not been replaced with anything of personality (They did) sitting on the couch is a young woman with dark red hair and bright green eyes. She is facing the camera but not looking directly at it.]
Hey there, I thought maybe an introduction would be a good idea, My name is Avila and I'm new in town, hoping to maybe make some-
[A soft rustling sound and what sounds like something bapping at the phone, and the girl in front of the camera furrows her brow, before realization sets on her face]
Merlin? Merlin stop, get down don't play with-
[The phone is knocked off whatever is propping it off, falling flat on the coffee table with the camera faced up, catching the face of a white cat with its face right in the camera, creating a distorted fish eye effect as the sound of the cat sniffing fills the audio.
The video cuts after the sound of Avila getting up and retrieving the phone, it returns and she is back on the couch, but now the white cat is sitting on her lap, staring directly at the camera.]
Ok, let's try this again, I'm Avila, this my familiar and seeing eye cat, Meowgister Merlin. I've moved to the city to try to learn more about magic and how to use it, so if anyone knows any good magical tutors, or anywhere with good coffee, let me know! I look forward to meeting some new friends here.
[A Beat of Silence]

[Her voice shifts, clearly talking to herself and not intending to address the camera with her last few words. She gets up and picks up the phone as the video ends cutting her off mid sentence, clearly she did not edit it before posting.]
